Upgrade to Main Studio Flooring
We will be installing a new floor surface as a positive response to member feedback and to ultimately improve the user experience. As the Melbourne Grand Prix provides us with the unique opportunity to action these changes while minimising member impact, the proposed works will be occurring from Thursday 22 March – Monday 26 March. This will provide members and visitors with improved shock absorption designed for a variety of multi-sport activities including high impact sports such as netball, volleyball and gymnastics.
To accommodate this the Group Exercise Studio classes noted below will be conducted as ‘Small Group Training’ sessions and will be facilitated in the gymnasium. For those wishing to attend these popular classes your instructor will meet you at the Health & Wellness desk before escorting you into the gym for class to start.
- Thursday: BodyPump at 6:00pm
- Friday: 6:15am BodyPump
- Friday: Dance Fitness at 10:35am
- Saturday: BodyPump at 9:20am and HIIT Step at 10:35am
- Sunday: Aerobics at 9:20am
- Monday: BodyPump at 6:15am, Boxing at 9:20am
Outside of the classes noted above, please be aware that Monday’s 12:00pm Wyser class will now be run in the Yoga Room. The Grand Prix Group Exercise Timetable will be amended accordingly and can be viewed/downloaded here.
Completion of the floor installation will occur Monday evening for classes to then resume as normal from Tuesday 27 March.
