Nitro Athletics parking and public transport guide
We’re expecting bumper crowds at Lakeside Stadium as Australian sports fans get to see the fastest man on the planet run at Nitro Athletics.
Parking availability will be limited during Nitro Athletics and other modes of transport are recommended. There will be some paid parking available on Aughtie Drive, Canterbury Road, Clarendon Street and Albert Road.

Three tram routes provide access to Lakeside Stadium.
Route 96 (East Brunswick to St Kilda Beach) – Stop 128, Albert Park OR Stop 129, Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre.
Route 12 (City to South Melbourne/St Kilda) – Stop 130, cnr Albert Rd and Clarendon St.
Route 1 (East Coburg – South Melbourne Beach) – Stop 24, cnr Clarendon St and Park St.
Taxis will be available from Albert Road Drive at the conclusion of each event.
While bicycles are not permitted to enter the stadium, there is a set of bicycle racks at Lakeside Stadium located at Gate 2.
